Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Webpage to PDF handles information when you use the website or browser extension, convert webpages, manage an account, make a purchase, or contact support.

Last Updated: September 26, 2026

How We Handle Information

The information involved depends on the features you choose to use.

1Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, we may receive your name, email address, password-derived authentication data, profile details, security settings, support messages and attachments, newsletter choices, Affiliate payment details, and other information you choose to submit.

Please do not send passwords, recovery codes, payment-card details, or confidential webpage content through support messages.

2Webpage conversion data

When you request a conversion, we process the submitted URL, conversion mode, page and loading settings, cleanup choices, viewport, request identifiers, timing, status, errors, and usage information needed to perform and account for the task.

Cloud conversion sends the requested URL to our browser service, which processes the page and temporarily stores previews and PDFs for delivery. Extension local conversion processes the open page in your browser without uploading it to our cloud conversion service. If you use the website's extension integration, tab titles, URLs and conversion results may be passed to the website interface.

3Account, device, and security data

We process account sessions, email-verification and password-recovery records, two-factor settings, sign-in events, IP or network information, browser and device details, anonymous browser identifiers, rate-limit counters, human-verification results, and security logs.

This information is used to authenticate users, provide anonymous allowances, enforce request and concurrency limits, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and protect the service and third-party websites.

4Payments and entitlements

Stripe processes checkout and payment credentials under its own privacy policy. We receive and store the customer, transaction, subscription, price, tax, refund, invoice, and payment-status references needed to manage purchases and grant or revoke the correct plan, role, conversion allowance, or API credits.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. The Stripe billing portal may be used to manage eligible subscriptions and billing details.

5Affiliate, communications, and support

If you use the Affiliate program, we process referral attribution, link traffic, referred registrations, eligible transactions, estimated commission, review status, payout profile, payment status, and audit information. Sensitive payout-profile values are encrypted before database storage.

We also process information needed to answer support requests, send account or security messages, deliver requested newsletters, and maintain records of those communications.

6How we use information

We use information to provide and improve webpage conversion, create and secure accounts, calculate usage, process purchases, operate the Affiliate program, deliver files and messages, respond to support, maintain reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

When first-party analytics is enabled, we may also measure page views, sessions, referrers, devices, feature use, and conversion events. Optional third-party analytics or advertising runs only when configured and allowed by the applicable consent choice.

7Service providers and disclosure

We disclose information to service providers only as needed for their role, such as Cloudflare for hosting, browser execution, storage, security, and Turnstile, Stripe for payments, and configured email, authentication, analytics, advertising, or support providers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell converted webpage content or generated PDFs.

8Retention

Cloud conversion files and browser sessions are temporary. Task records may retain status, timing, usage and failure details for accounting and support. The extension temporarily caches screenshots and source PDFs on your device. Cached files expire after 1 hour; cleanup runs approximately every 5 minutes while the extension is running and on background startup. Deletion may be delayed while the browser is closed or the extension is suspended. A preview already open may remain available until its result panel is closed.

Account, purchase, entitlement, Affiliate, security, and support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the service, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, and enforcement. Backups and provider systems may take additional time to complete deletion.

9Security

We use controls such as signed cookies, access checks, encryption for selected sensitive values, rate limits, isolated browser sessions, URL and network restrictions, audit records, and limited provider access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account, email, devices, downloaded PDFs, and any credentials or confidential information contained in a webpage you choose to convert.

10Your choices and requests

Available account controls let you review or update profile and security information, end sessions, manage subscriptions, change Affiliate payout details, update cookie preferences, and request account deletion. You can unsubscribe from optional email where an unsubscribe control is provided.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information. The extension keeps your conversion settings and language preferences on your device until changed or its local data is removed. It also stores login tokens and temporarily holds account information and task state. Signing out of the extension removes its stored login tokens and account state, but not your settings or downloaded files. Uninstalling the extension removes its browser-managed local data; PDFs you downloaded remain wherever you saved them. Account deletion is a separate request, and billing, security or dispute records may be retained where required.

11Children

The service is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to online services in their location. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the request.

Parents or guardians should supervise any authorized use and should not allow children to submit private or sensitive webpage content.

12Changes and contact

We may update this Policy when our conversion service, providers, storage, security controls, or legal obligations change. The date shown above identifies the current version, and material changes may also be announced through the website or account notices.
